The city has worked with the Moultrie YMCA to open a remote branch similar to the Moultrie Y downtown branch in Doerun. Located next door to the Doerun Police Department and across from City Hall, it had a grand opening the end of August 2021. The Doerun Y branch is mainly intended for the 31744 zip code, but is controlled by the Moultrie YMCA providing 24/7 access utilizing their facilities access system.
